Lady Bobcats outlast Converse 3-1 to open conference play
SPARTANBURG, S.C. --- Whitney Justice (Connelly Springs, N.C.) and Lauren Fox (Garland, Texas) each recorded at least 10 kills to lead the Lees-McRae women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Converse College to open Conference Carolinas play on Monday night. Lees-McRae (1-4) defeated the Valkyries (0-3) by scores of 26-24, 17-25, 25-22, and 25-11 to give head coach Wes Schneider his first career victory at the NCAA Division II level. [+]
