Carson began his LMC stint in January 2013 as an assistant athletic trainer.
He currently serves as the athletic trainer for men's soccer, men's basketball, women's lacrosse and the men's and women's track and field teams and cross country treams.
Carson instructs athletic training practicum courses and has influenced, advanced and maintained standards within the ATEP to remain in good standing with CAATE.
He is responsible for maintaining student-athlete health and insurance cards while designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for athletic teams and therapeutic exercise programs for injured athletes.
Prior to LMC, Carson served as a student athletic trainer for the Duquesne University men's basketball team.
While attending Duquesne, he worked closely with the West Alleghany High School football and soccer squads and the Shady Side Academy Senior School.
Carson majored earned his Bachelor of Science in athletic training and was on the Director of Athletics Honor Roll every semester at DU. He was named to the Dean's List twice.
He earned his masters at California University of Pennsylvania in exercise science and health promotion.
He is a proud owner of his pet turtle.
