Remembering Megan

 

On December 15, 2011, Lees-McRae College freshman cyclist Megan Baab was killed in a tragic accident on US Highway 221 while training. A native of Euless, Texas, Megan was concluding her first semester at Lees-McRae while competing as a member of the cycling team. Megan will be remembered for her effervescent smile, her fierce competitiveness, and her unshakable loyalty.
