Lees-McRae Leads Fort Lewis with One National Title Remaining in the USA Cycling National Collegiate Cycling Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Lees-McRae College cycling team leads Fort Lewis College by one point in the overall team standings in the USA Cycling Collegiate National Cycling Championships heading into the final national championship of the collegiate season, the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships, May 8-10 in Fort Collins, Colo.

The Bobcats narrowly edged mountain bike national champions Fort Lewis in December's cyclo-cross national championships,to take a single-point lead in the overall DI standings, 57-56. The Bobcats finished third at the USA Cycling Collegiate Track Nationals and second at the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals.

The overall USA Cycling Collegiate DI National Champion will be crowned following the final day of competition at the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships, May 8-10 in Fort Collins, Colo.
