    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cycling team announced the signing of Aidan Coats-Ballaseux (Denver, Colo.) to its 2020-21 recruiting class on Monday afternoon. This signing is the ninth cyclist the Bobcats have added in the past few months that will join the program in the fall.

    GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced that 157 Lees-McRae College student-athletes earned spots on the Fall 2019 Presidential Honor Roll. Overall, there were 2,742 student-athletes in the conference to earn this honor.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cycling team announced the signing of Anthony Bowman (Avonmore, Pa.) to its recruiting class for the 2020-21 season on Monday afternoon. Bowman is the seventh recruit that Head Coach Tim Hall has signed during this recruiting cycle.

After one day of competition, the Bobcats sit in fourth place and are just one point out of third place.

    BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. – Senior Veronica Laughton captured her second consecutive and third overall national championship in the dual slalom to highlight day two of the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships for the Lees-McRae College cycling programs. At the end of day two, the Bobcats are in third place in the team omnium.
  • Cycling finishes fourth at the Mountain Bike Nationals

    BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. – The Lees-McRae College cycling team wrapped up competition at the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships on Sunday. The Bobcats finished fourth in the team omnium, while freshman Maria Doering finished second in the women’s individual omnium.

    COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lees-McRae College cycling teams captured the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (SECCC) Varsity Championship this past weekend in Columbia, Kentucky. It marks the 13th straight season that the Bobcats have won the league title in the mountain bike discipline.
  • Cycling puts forth a strong showing in home event over the weekend

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cycling team had a strong showing at its annual home mountain bike race this past weekend. The Bobcats totaled 13 victories over the course of the two days, and likely made history by hosting the largest participant list in a regular season collegiate mountain bike event with 260 unique riders for 652 total entries. This was a dual conference event between the SECCC and ACCC, and attracted Marian University of the MWCCC.

    ATLANTA, Ga. – The Lees-McRae College cycling programs began the 2019-20 season on a strong note this past weekend at Georgia Tech. Overall, the Bobcats posted eight victories and had eight more podium finishes over the course of two days.
