BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's basketball team will look to build a winning streak this weekend when it travels to Belmont Abbey Friday and Pfeiffer Saturday. Both games are slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Last Time Out – The Bobcats snapped a two-game losing skid on Tuesday by knocking off North Greenville, 85-77. Lepreece Lynch led the Bobcats with 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field.
Bobcat Bench – Lees-McRae's bench has been one of the strongest parts of the team this season. The LMC reserves have outscored the opposition's bench by an average of 7.1 points per game. Leading these efforts has been Jordan Turner who is averaging 10.5 points per game while coming off the bench.
Winning Streaks – The Bobcats will try and win back-to-back games for the first time all season when it takes on Belmont Abbey and Pfeiffer this weekend. LMC posted a five-game winning streak and a pair of three-game streaks last season en route to a program record 16 victories.
Felton for Three – Like he has all season long, Rishad Felton ranks among the top three-point shooters in the Conference Carolinas. Felton currently is fourth in the league shooting 43.7 percent from three-point range. Felton has connected on at least one three-pointer in five of the team's last six games.
Series Rewind – Both the Falcons and Crusaders knocked off Lees-McRae when the two teams matched up earlier in the year. Pfeiffer won a shootout against the Bobcats, 124-108, while Belmont Abbey sneaked past LMC, 74-71.
