BANNER ELK, N.C. – Riding a four game winning streak, the Lees-McRae College men's basketball team will look to keep things rolling with three Conference Carolinas games on tap for this week. The Bobcats will travel to Emmanuel (GA) College Tuesday before returning home to host Mount Olive Friday and Barton Saturday. The first two games this week are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday's contest set to begin at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out – The Bobcats avenged a loss to Limestone earlier this season by defeating the Saints at Williams Gymnasium last Saturday, 88-72. LMC's record improved to 12-6 overall and 6-3 in league play with that victory.

Confidence in Conference – LMC's conference record currently sits three games above the .500 mark. The Bobcats are trying to finish the season with a record above that mark in league play for just the second time during the Division II era. The only other time the Bobcats posted a winning record in conference play was during the 2015-16 campaign when they finished 12-8.

Falls named Player of the WeekDonte Falls was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the league office earlier today. Falls joins teammate Kamil Williams as Bobcats who have been named the conference's player of the week this season.

Going Streaking – If Lees-McRae can win Tuesday's game at Emmanuel it will mark the first five-game winning streak for the program since the 2015-16 season when it knocked off Mount Olive, Brevard, Belmont Abbey, Pfeiffer and Erskine in a row.

Quest for 1,000 – Senior Lepreece Lynch is looking to accomplish something that has happened only seven times in Lees-McRae men's basketball history. With just 60 more points, Lynch will join the exclusive 1,000 point club. As mentioned earlier, only seven Bobcats have ever accomplished this feat with the last being Daniel Sepokas in 2013.

About the Opponents – LMC will have a tough stretch of opponents this week with all three teams having a winning records on the season. Emmanuel and Barton both check in with 10 wins each, while Mount Olive has won seven straight games and leads the league with 14 victories.

Series Histories vs. Opponents – The Bobcats picked up just their second win over Emmanuel in seven tries earlier this month, 76-74. Both Mount Olive and Barton defeated Lees-McRae earlier this season when those two teams hosted the Bobcats at their respective gyms. Since 2006, LMC is 6-20 against UMO and 4-20 against the Bulldogs.
