BANNER ELK, N.C. – Riding a four game winning streak, the Lees-McRae College men's basketball team will look to keep things rolling with three Conference Carolinas games on tap for this week. The Bobcats will travel to Emmanuel (GA) College Tuesday before returning home to host Mount Olive Friday and Barton Saturday. The first two games this week are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday's contest set to begin at 4 p.m.

The Bobcats are trying to finish the season with a record above that mark in league play for just the second time during the Division II era. The only other time the Bobcats posted a winning record in conference play was during the 2015-16 campaign when they finished 12-8.
Falls named Player of the Week – Donte Falls was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week by the league office earlier today. Falls joins teammate Kamil Williams as Bobcats who have been named the conference's player of the week this season.

Quest for 1,000 – Senior Lepreece Lynch is looking to accomplish something that has happened only seven times in Lees-McRae men's basketball history. With just 60 more points, Lynch will join the exclusive 1,000 point club. As mentioned earlier, only seven Bobcats have ever accomplished this feat with the last being Daniel Sepokas in 2013.

Both Mount Olive and Barton defeated Lees-McRae earlier this season when those two teams hosted the Bobcats at their respective gyms. Since 2006, LMC is 6-20 against UMO and 4-20 against the Bulldogs.
