Brandon Rosser is in his first season as the assistantmen’s basketball coach at Lees-McRae College.
He will assist in all facets of the men’s basketballprogram with an emphasis on recruiting, development of theBobcats’ post players, implementation of a strength program,and opponent scouting.
Rosser comes to Lees-McRae after two seasons at LouisburgCollege in Louisburg, N.C., where he helped lead the Hurricanes toan overall record 65-8, two Region 10 championships, and two berthsin the NJCAA National Championship tournament. Louisburg finishedeach season ranked among the top 10 in the nation. During histenure at Louisburg, Rosser mentored two NJCAA All-Americans, andhelped 14 players earn basketball scholarships at four-yearinstitutions.
Prior to his stint at Louisburg College, Rosser was an assistantat North Greenville University from 2008-2011. While at NorthGreenville he completed his Masters in Business Administration.Before joining the staff at North Greenville, Rosser spent twoyears at his alma mater Bluefield College.
While at Bluefield, Rosser fulfilled numerous roles. He was anassistant for Coach Hardin with the men’s and women’sbasketball programs, head JV basketball coach and head golf coach.Bluefield’s men’s team amassed 47 wins over a two yearspan, and produced eight all-conference players and twoAll-Americans.
Rosser is a native of Forest, Va., where he played at JeffersonForest High School. He graduated from Bluefield College with adegree in Exercise Science/Sports Management in 2006.
