The Railsplitters responded with a 4-0 run over the next 10 minutes while Jared Courchene found the back of the net twice.
Stottlar tallied an unassisted goal at the 12:47 mark of the first quarter.
Both defenses clamped down in the second, but a pair of Justin goals gave LMU a 7-2 lead at halftime.
The Bobcats corralled eight groundballs in the first 30 minutes of play.
LMC's Stottlar continued his solid performance with two goals in a 26-second span in the third before tallying his third goal of the period with 32 seconds remaining in the quarter.
