BANNER ELK, N.C. – After an exciting win over Emmanuel last Saturday in Banner Elk, the Lees-McRae College men's lacrosse team will be back in action this Saturday when it travels to Coker for its final non-conference game of the regular season. First face-off between the two teams is set for 6 p.m.

Last Time Out – As mentioned earlier, the Bobcats upended Emmanuel last Saturday by the score of 20-7 at Tate Field. The victory pushes LMC's record to 2-4 overall and 1-4 in Conference Carolinas action.

More Accolades for Molander – After scoring 10 points (7g, 3a) in Saturday's win, junior attackman Alec Molander was named the Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse player of the week. On top of this accomplishment, Molander became the program's new all-time leading point scorer with 179.

10 is the Magic Number – The number 10 is quickly becoming the magic number for the Bobcats. In its last five games when scoring 10 or more goals, Lees-McRae is 4-1. Additionally, both of the teams' wins this season have come after the squad scored 10 or more.

About Coker – The Cobras enter Saturday's game with the Bobcats with a record of 6-6 overall and 3-4 in conference action. Coker has posted a record of 1-2 against Conference Carolinas schools in 2018 with a win over Chowan, but with setbacks against North Greenville and Mount Olive.

Individually, the Cobras have an extremely balanced attack with six different players scoring 10 or more points on the season. Rylee Marsh leads all Coker attackers with 34 points on the 2018 campaign.

Series Rewind vs. Coker – Lees-McRae has never defeated Coker in men's lacrosse in three previous meetings. One of those victories came at Tate Field last season where the Cobras upended the Bobcats, 19-17.
