BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's lacrosse program released its 2019 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats are scheduled to play 14 games this spring with seven of those contests set to be played on Tate Field.
Lees-McRae will open its season with a pair of non-conference games against regional foes Mars Hill (February 2) and Tusculum (February 9). After those two road games, LMC returns home to host Montreat (February 16) and Wilmington (Feb. 23) to close out the season's first month.
The month of March will see the Bobcats spend most of it away from the High Country. After opening the month and its league schedule with a matchup at home against Mount Olive on March 2, LMC will head out on the road for four straight games against Limestone (March 5), Davis & Elkins (March 14), Barton (March 16) and Emmanuel (March 23).
As the calendar turns to April, the Bobcats will spend most of the month at home. Lees-McRae will start April out with non-league games against Lindenwood (April 4) and Alderson Broaddus (April 6) before hosting conference foes North Greenville (April 10) and Belmont Abbey (April 13) at Tate Field. LMC will close out its regular season with a trip to Chowan on April 20.
The Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Tournament will begin on April 23 with two first-round games. The semifinals and finals will occur on April 26 and April 28 on the campus of the University of Mount Olive.
