Bobcats Crack NSCAA Top Ten: Ranked Seventh in National Poll and First in the Southeast Region

BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College Bobcats men's soccer team has cracked the NSCAA National Rankings' top ten, with a number seven ranking, after starting the season off 3-0.

The Bobcats defeated Mars Hill on the road Tuesday, September 1st, 1-0, and took care of Lincoln Memorial, 2-1, Friday, September 4th to jump four spots in the rankings, from 11 to seven. The Bobcats also jumped from second to first in the NSCAA Southeast Regional Rankings.

They are the highest ranked team in the Conference Carolinas on both polls, as well.

The Bobcats will defend their ranking Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. as they travel to Carson-Newman.
