HICKORY, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's soccer team and Lenoir-Rhyne University played to a 1-1 draw Wednesday evening in a non-conference contest in Hickory, North Carolina. The tie is the second for the Bobcats this season as their record moves to 5-2-2 with the result Wednesday.

Lenoir-Rhyne jumped ahead of Lees-McRae quickly as it scored its only goal of the match 2:26 into the contest. LMC would tie the score at 1-1 in the 33rd minute when Pol Vassart collected a pass from Nathan Watt and put it away for his third goal of the season. It marks the third straight match Vassart has scored at least one point.
