Tom Deeley named to United Soccer Coaches’ All-Southeast Region Second Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lees-McRae College men's soccer player Tom Deeley was named to the United Soccer Coaches' All-Southeast Region Second Team late Thursday afternoon.

"Tom has deserved every honor, and award he's received this postseason," said LMC Head Coach Rich Wall. "To be recognized by other coaches within the deepest, and most competitive region of NCAA Division II men's soccer is no small accomplishment."  

This honor is the latest of several the senior from Oxford, England has received over the past few weeks. Deeley has been named the D2CCA Southeast Region Player of the Year, Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year, CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and Academic All-Conference squad over the past handful of weeks.

Deeley paced the Bobcats in goals (13), points (34), shots (82) and shots on goal (42) this season. With his career as a Bobcat wrapped up, Deeley will graduate ranking fifth in program history in points (100), goals (37), second in assists (26) and sixth in match-winning goals (8).
