BANNER ELK, N.C. -- The dates have been set for the 2009 Lees-McRae Boys' and Girls' Tennis Camp. The camp will be held August 3rd -7th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Participants may choose a half-day option from 9 a.m. through 12 p.m. as well.

"I am excited to announce the date of camp for summer 2009 and feel that we have a great opportunity here at Lees-McRae to help local children and visitors to the area develop their tennis games," Lees-McRae College head coach Paul Goode said. "We have fantastic courts both indoor and outdoor and, along with our new swimming pool, I feel we can offer the campers a great experience and a chance to work with some top class coaches. The camps last year were a great success with over 60 youngsters attending".

"Once again, I am happy to be involved and give my expertise to the Lees-McRae Tennis Camps, and I am really excited about working with Paul Goode and his staff and the campers," camp Coordinator Chris Whalley said. "Along with the facilities mentioned, we have a talented coaching staff and a great camp leader in Paul. Paul has made the tennis program into one of the finest in the country, and I am proud to work alongside him."
