Bobcats Upset Divsion I UNC-Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- The Lees-McRae College Bobcats men's tennis team upset Divsion I UNC-Asheville, 4-3, Sunday afternoon in one of the longest matches in school history, eight hours.

When the match started at 3 p.m. the Bobcats lost all three doubles to fall behind 1-0 - using Division I scoring doubles is worth point total.

But in singles, Nandor Solymosi won at the number one singles and was followed Shaun Sumner, who won at number two singles. Marko Zivcovic won at number five singles ,and Alex Hayes closed the match with win at number six. The match lasted a total of eight hours.
