Arthur Provisionally Qualifies in Pole in Alonzo Clark Memorial Meet

BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae men's track team had a good showing at their first outdoor track and field meet of the season Alonzo Clark Memorial Meet led by Jonathan Arthur, who provisionally qualified for the NCAA National Meet in the pole vault.

Arthur finished the meet with a height of 16'03.25" to win the meet and provisionally qualify.

Other notable finishers for the Bobcats were Brad Tanis in the 400m hurdles with a time of 56.33 to win the event, Chris Glenn won the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.99 and in the field events Joe Daher won the shot put and discus.
