Saintine’s record day leads Bobcats at Wake Forest Open

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --- Nazaire Saintine (Douglassville, Ga.) established a new school record in the high jump to pace the Lees-McRae College men's track and field team to a strong performance at the Wake Forest Open on Friday.

Saintine finished eighth with a mark of 2.02 meters, as Bradley King (Hildebran, N.C.) and Brandon Williams (Raleigh, N.C.) placed 19th and 20th, respectively, in the 110-meter hurdles. Richard Lane (Concord, N.C.) also placed 14th in the "B" high jump with a mark of 1.82 meters.

Lees-McRae will return to action on Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C. on the second day of the Wake Forest Open.
