Bobcats open the indoor track season Saturday in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College track & field teams opened their indoor season Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C. The Bobcats notched a pair of top 10 finishes on the day with the best finish being seventh.

Kendall Isler and Joshua Cady both finished seventh in their respective events for the best finishes by the Bobcats Saturday. Isler, who is a former member of the LMC men's basketball team, notched a height of 1.90m in the high jump, while Cady logged a height of 4.15m in the pole vault.

On the women's side, Erin Bingham posted the best finish with a 12th place nod in the 60m hurdles after running at a time of 9.19.

The Bobcats will continue their indoor season Jan. 13-14 when they compete in the ETSU Invitational in Johnson City, Tenn.

Joshua Goodwin – 26th – Shot Put – 12.03m

Jennifer Johnson – 28th – Long Jump – 4.71m

Dalton Tallent – 30th – 400m – 52.43

Vicente Sanchez – 35th – 200m – 24.29

Jennifer Johnson – 45th – 60m – 8.23

Dalton Tallent – 45th – 60m – 7.27

Kaitlyn Gearing – 55th – 200m – 28.41
