JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Lees-McRae College track & field programs closed out the ETSU Invitational in Johnson City on Saturday. The highlight of the day was the Men's 400m DMR Team with a sixth place finish. LMC, which logged a time of 10:57.62. The members of that particular relay team was Josh Hall, Dalton Tallent, Cody McNeely and Austin Thompson.
Brandon Prescott posted the best finish of any individual Bobcat on the day with a ninth place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.64m.
McNeely and Kayla Powell both tallied 16th place finishes in the Men's 800m and Women's Shot Put, respectively. Rounding out the results for Lees-McRae was a 26th place finish in the shot put by Joshua Goodwin and a 43rd place finish by Jordyn Halversen in the Women's 800m
LMC will return to action next weekend when it competes in the Appalachian State Invitational in Boone, N.C. The meet will take place on both Friday and Saturday.
