HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College men's track and field team was picked sixth in the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track and Field preseason coaches' poll, announced by the league today (Friday, Nov. 30).

The men's team collected 44 points in the poll, while Mount Olive was picked as the preseason favorite with 80 points.

The Bobcats finished seventh in Conference Carolinas a year ago with 23 points at the championship meet.

Luke Rochester, Jason Saintizaire and Joshua Hall were named as athletes to watch for Lees-McRae this season. Rochester was named both All-Conference and All-Southeast Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for both indoor and outdoor competition a year ago, while Saintizaire was named to the all-conference third team and also an all-region selection by the USTFCCA last year in outdoor competition. Hall has been a part of several successful relay teams for Lees-McRae, including a second-place finish in the distance medley relay at last year's Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships.
