BANNER ELK, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College men's and women's track and field teams continue their indoor campaigns this Saturday (Jan. 19) at the Wake Forest Invitational held in Winston-Salem, N.C. Live stats will be available at www.lmcbobcats.com.

Event Preview - The running events begin with the 60-meter hurdles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 19), while the shot put will be the first field event at 9:30 a.m. 

Last Time Out - Lees-McRae last competed back on Jan. 11-12 at the ETSU Invitational. The teams competed in the weight throw and several other field events on Friday (Jan. 11), before competing in the pole vault, long jump, high jump, shot put and one-mile run on Saturday (Jan. 12).

Men:  Blake Radder was the top finisher in the weight throw with a 22nd place finish with a throw of 10.27 meters. Alex Heck also finished 24th with a throw of 8.59 meters. Logan Welton placed 30th in the long jump with a distance of 5.02 meters. Jason Saintizaire also debuted his season with a fourth-place finish in the high jump at 1.95 meters. Radder notched a 22nd-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 10.38 meters, while Heck finished 26th with a throw of 9.44 meters. Tristin Bertie finished 18th in the mile run at 4:48.82, while Joshua Hall finished 21st in 4:54.11. Brett Page was the final Bobcat to finish in the mile run in 30th place with a time of 5:30.66.

Women: Mya Roberts was the top Bobcat finisher in the weight throw with a 15th place finish and a throw of 12.04 meters, while Bayle Wood finished 22nd with a throw of 11.26 meters. Natalie Donahue was the top finisher for Lees-McRae in the pole vault, finishing fifth with a mark of 3.00 meters. Jordyn Halverson was the top finisher for the Bobcats in the one-mile run, posting a 27th-place finish in 6:30.46. Sarah Bowman (7:16.95), Maegan Prettyman (7:29.39) and Kaela Kelly (7:29.71) finished 29th-31st in the mile run.  

Up Next - The teams will head back to Johnson City, Tenn. for their next competition on Feb. 1-2 at the ETSU Open.
