  • 157 Lees-McRae student-athletes earn spots on Presidential Honor Roll

    GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas announced that 157 Lees-McRae College student-athletes earned spots on the Fall 2019 Presidential Honor Roll. Overall, there were 2,742 student-athletes in the conference to earn this honor.
  • Track & Field heads to Winston-Salem on Sunday

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College track & field teams will resume their indoor seasons on Sunday when they make the short trip to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the JDL Fast Track College Kickoff Classic. The action will run throughout the day and will begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
  • Brooks Rexroat hired as Associate Head Track & Field Coach

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae College’s Head Track & Field Coach Ley Fletcher announced the hiring of Brooks Rexroat as Associate Head Track & Field Coach Tuesday afternoon. Rexroat brings over a decade of coaching experience at a variety of different levels to Lees-McRae’s coaching staff.
  • A pair of school records fall as Track & Field wraps up first meet of indoor season

    BOONE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College track and field programs saw a pair of school records fall over the weekend at the Appalachian State Invitational to highlight their first meet of the indoor season. Overall, the women’s team placed fifth out of seven schools, while the men’s team placed sixth out of seven squads.
  • Track & Field set to open indoor season this weekend in Boone

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College track and field programs will kick off the indoor season this weekend at the Appalachian State Open on the campus of Appalachian State University. The meet, which will take place in the Holmes Center, is scheduled to run on both Friday and Saturday. Action on Friday is solely in field events beginning at 5 p.m., while Saturday will see both track and field events beginning at 10 a.m. for the field and 11 a.m. for the track.
