BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men's volleyball team will open the Conference Carolinas Tournament Tuesday when it heads to Mount Olive. The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. from Mount Olive.

Last Time Out – Lees-McRae fell on the road to Limestone last Tuesday by a score of 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23) to close out its regular season. The loss moved LMC's record to 10-16 and 8-10 in conference play.

Back in the Postseason – Tuesday's match will be the first postseason appearance for Lees-McRae since the 2014 season. LMC's opponent in that contest was UMO as well and it dropped a 3-1 decision to the Trojans.

National Leader – As the Bobcats head into the postseason play, senior Keenan Freitas still leads the nation with 284 digs. The Hilo, Hawaii native also paces the country in digs per set with a mark of 3.02.

Series Rewind – The Trojans won both matches against UMO this season. LMC will be looking for its first victory over Mount Olive since 2009. Overall, Mount Olive has won 16 straight over the Bobcats.
