The men’s squad finished fourth in the championship last season.
“I look forward to building on to a successful season we had last year with a very young team. I feel with more of a veteran squad and adding freshman Joshua Hall (Ferguson, N.C.) will add depth to our team and give us more of a chance at a top-three finish this year,” said Fletcher.
The men’s roster consists of seven upperclassmen, including seniors Sean Condon (Walnut Cove, N.C.) and Cody McNeely (Salisbury, N.C.).
On the women’s side, the Bobcats boasts six upperclassmen, including juniors Alexandria Flint (Blue Bell, Pa.) and Makayla Estep (Moravian Falls, N.C.).
“We are still a young team while sporting three sophomores. I look for an improved squad as we continue to get a little better each day,” said Fletcher. “We have signed four freshmen to the team; which I feel will add some much-needed depth to our team. I think it will make us a more competitive squad.”
The Southeast Regional Championships will take place in Montevallo, Ala. (Nov. 4-5).
