Men’s Cross Country ranked No. 10 in the Southeast Regional Rankings

NEW ORLEANS – For the second time this season, the Lees-McRae College men's cross country team is ranked in the USTFCCCA Southeast Regional Rankings the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. The Bobcats check in 10th in the rankings behind just Mount Olive among Conference Carolinas institutions.

The Bobcats, who were also ranked 10th in the regional rankings in preseason, are coming off a second place finish at the Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships last Friday in Concord, N.C. LMC was led in the event by Austin Thompson who finished 11th with a time of 26:45.7. Thompson's time Friday was the 12th-fastest time in the history of LMC's program. Thompson now seven of the top 20 times in LMC men's cross country history.

Lees-McRae will return to action on November 4 when it takes part in the Southeast Regional Championship race in Wingate, N.C.
