Cross Country heads to Georgia Saturday to compete at the NCAA Southeast Regionals

BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College cross country programs will head to the Peach State Saturday to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. Both races will take place in Oakwood, Georgia on the campus of University of North Georgia Gainesville.

Championship Info – The men's race will occur first and will begin at 9 a.m. on a 10k course. The women's race will follow at 10:15 a.m. and will be a 6k. For more information, please visit the championship central page HERE.

Who is Competing – The entire men's team will make the trip down to Georgia Saturday after finishing second at the Conference Carolinas Championships two weeks ago. Additionally, Brianne Heard and Jordyn Halvorsen will be running Saturday as well after leading LMC for the bulk of the season.

How to Follow -  Both races and the awards ceremony will be streamed live using multiple cameras and live audio on the Nighthawk Sports Network on both YouTube and Facebook. Live Results can also be found HERE.
