Lees-McRae won game one, 7-0, before knocking off the Warriors a second time by a score of 14-5 in five innings. The pair of victories move Lees-McRae’s overall record to 8-10 and its league record to 2-2.

First, the Bobcats will travel to Greeneville, Tennessee for a twin bill at Tusculum Wednesday beginning at 2 p.m. Following those games, Lees-McRae will head to Hickory, North Carolina to take part in the Lenoir-Rhyne Bear Bash on Saturday and Sunday. The Bobcats face Fairmont State and Virginia Wise on Saturday and then Lenoir-Rhyne and Virginia Wise again on Sunday. Saturday’s games are set to be played at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., while Sunday’s contests are set to begin at 1 and 3 p.m.

LMC blanked the Tornado in game one, 4-0, but the latter rebounded to take game two, 6-1. Additionally, with the victory in game one by Kara Cunningham, she is now the program’s new record holder for wins by a pitcher in a single season with 16 victories.
