MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. --- Brea Forbes and Caitlin Brown registered double figures, but the Lees-McRae women's basketball team dropped an 83-57 decision at Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas play Tuesday evening at Kornegay Arena in Mount Olive, N.C.

The Trojans (12-10, 10-6 CC) enjoyed an 18-point performance form Arieal Johnson while the team held a +11 advantage in rebounds. The Bobcats (7-16, 6-10) saw Forbes (Freeport, Bahamas) score at least 15 points for the fourth time in the last nine contests.

The redshirt freshman led all scorers with 19 points.

UMO's Tommarah Harris connected on a three before a pair of free throws from Johnson tied it at 19 at the end of the first.

The Bobcats offense was silenced and held without a point for the first 5:16 of the second quarter while the Trojans used a pair of triples to take a 32-23 lead.

UMO kept the lead at nine at the intermission despite four made free throws from Forbes.

The Trojans used strong play from Ni'ya Styles and Jada Bacchus in the third to extend the lead to 26. UMO outscored LMC 28-11 in the frame.

Three of LMC's five made buckets in the fourth were of the three-point variety, including one from Olivia Unger (Lutz, Fla.).
