Crawford Captures Player of the Week Honors After Career Day

CONFERENCE CAROLINAS RELEASE

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Sophomore forward Meg Crawford was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 12-18, the league announced today.

In LMC's only game last week, Crawford led the Bobcats to an 83-74 win over Livingstone College on Saturday (Nov. 17), where she posted a double-double that included a career-high 27 points and also a team-high 12 rebounds. She shot 11-15 from the floor and also 5-6 from the free throw line. Crawford also recorded three blocks in the win.

Crawford's 14.7 points per game lead the team and are tied for eighth in Conference Carolinas, while her 8.0 boards per game also lead the team and are tied for seventh in the league. She also leads the league in blocks per game at 4.0.

This is Crawford's first career Player of the Week honor. The Blountville, Tenn. native is the daughter of Travis and Christy Crawford.
