About the Bobcats - Lees-McRae enters the week at 10-10 overall and 7-6 in Conference Carolinas play. Lees-McRae is fifth in the league in scoring and also one of six teams to average at least 70 points per game (70.2 points per game), while they are also 10th in the league in scoring defense allowing opponents 71.7 points per game. Brea Forbes leads the team and is fifth individually in the league averaging 15.3 points per game, while Markia Stacey (12.6 points per game) and Meg Crawford (12.5 points per game) are the other Bobcats to average double figures on the season. Lees-McRae is also sixth in the league in rebounding pulling down 39.3 rebounds per game, while opponents grab 46.5 rebounds per game against them. Crawford leads the team in rebounding and is 11th individually in the conference pulling down 6.9 boards per game, while Forbes is second on the team and 15th individually in the league at 6.0 rebounds per game. The Bobcats are ninth in the league in shooting at 38.1 percent from the floor, while also being fourth in the league from beyond the arc at 32.8 percent for the season. Last Week - The Bobcats went 2-0 in league play last week, defeating Southern Wesleyan 79-75 on Monday (Jan. 21) and North Greenville 64-59 on Saturday (Jan. 26).
About the Opponent - Converse comes into the matchup at 8-10 overall and 2-10 in Conference Carolinas play, after winning at Mars Hill on Monday (Jan. 28) and at Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday (Jan. 30). Converse is seventh in the league in scoring averaging 69.7 points per game, while also having the sixth-best scoring defense in the league at 69.3 points per game. Nigeria Davis leads the team in scoring averaging 12.2 points per game, while Abigail Lewis averages 11.6 points per game. Converse is the second-best rebounding team in Conference Carolinas pulling down 43.7 rebounds per game, while holding opponents to the fourth-lowest rebounding average in the league at 38.1 boards per game. Davis's 9.1 rebounds per game also lead the team and are fourth individually in the conference. Converse is seventh in the league in shooting at 40.0 percent on the season, while also being 10th in the league from beyond the arc at 29.4 percent.
Series History vs. Opponent - This will be the 25th all-time meeting between Lees-McRae and Converse since 2006, with Lees-McRae leading the series 18-6.
