Women’s Lacrosse falls to Mount Olive Saturday

BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's lacrosse fell to Mount Olive Saturday afternoon at Tate Field by a score of 27-1. The loss moves LMC's record to 2-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play on the 2017 season.

Tiffany Laster scored the lone goal for the Bobcats Saturday afternoon. The goal was Laster's eighth of the season, which ranks third on the team. Additionally, Laster also led LMC with four ground ball pickups Saturday.

In goal, Dayna Decesare took the loss dropping her record to 2-5 on the season. Decesare made seven saves against the Trojans.

LMC will be back in action Monday when it hosts Erskine College at Tate Field. The Bobcats and Flying Fleet are scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
