Balanced Attack leads Bobcats to an 18-6 win over Erskine Monday

BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's lacrosse team picked up its third win of the season Monday night when it defeated Erskine by a score of 18-6 in Conference Carolinas action. The win improves LMC's record to 3-5 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Seven different Bobcats tallied at least one point in Monday's win with six of those registering multiple points. Callie Gregg led the way for the Bobcats with six points (4g, 2a) with Constance Madden not far behind with five points of her own (3g, 2a).

In addition to Gregg and Madden, Peyton LeCompte, Tiffany Laster and Sara Henderson all notched hat tricks for the Bobcats.

Freshman Dayna Decesare notched her third win of the season Monday after making five saves on 10 shots against her. Decesare's record improves to 3-5 this season with the victory.

The Bobcats will look to make it two wins a row when they return to the field Saturday when they host North Greenville at Tate Field. The game, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., will also be the team's senior day celebration.
