Emmanuel (GA) edges out Lees-McRae Saturday, 14-13

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – Despite scoring 13 goals on the road Saturday at Emmanuel (GA), the Lees-McRae College women's lacrosse team fell to the Lions by a score of 14-13. The loss moves LMC's record to 3-8 overall and 2-7 in conference contests.   

Constance Madden led LMC's offense Saturday against the Lions scoring a career-high four goals and chipped in an assist as well. Not far behind Madden was the duo of Peyton LeCompte and Sara Henderson who both scored three goals and added one assist of their own. Tiffany Laster rounded out the scoring for LMC with a pair of goals bringing her season total to 13.

Dayna Decesare took the loss in goal for the Bobcats against Emmanuel (GA) after allowing 14 goals Saturday. Decesare did make eight saves but saw her record dip to 3-8 with the loss.

LMC will step out of conference play Wednesday when it travels to take on Lincoln Memorial. First face-off is set for 4:30 p.m. from Harrogate, Tenn.
