Women’s Lacrosse falls on the road at Lee, 17-5

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Lees-McRae College women's lacrosse team fell on the road to Lee University by a score to 17-5. The loss moves LMC's record to 1-2 on the season.

Five different Bobcats accounted for the team's five goals on the day. Beth Haynes, Sydney Starkey, Elana Wheeler, Sara Henderson and Patterson Jones all netted goals for LMC. Constance Madden accounted for two of the team's three assists, while Jones added an assist of her own as well.

Dayna Decesare was tagged for the loss in goal for the Bobcats after allowing 17 goals in 26 shots faced. Decesare's record dips to 1-2 on the season.

The Bobcats will not take the field again until March 10 when it hosts Belmont Abbey in their home opener. Start time for that contest is set for 1 p.m.
