Up Close & Personal with Brittany Bolton

Banner Elk, NC--A native of Roanoke, VA this freshman has spent a lot of time in the goal this season racking up 79 saves with several games left to play. Brittany played for the Roanoke Stars before arriving in Banner Elk this fall to play for the Bobcats. Join us as we get to know her a bit better.

1. What made you decide to come to Lees-McRae? I wanted a small school that would provide me with a great student-teacher ratio.

2. What are your personal goals for this season? I want to have fun, train hard, and to do whatever it takes to make me a better soccer player.

3. Who has been the most influential person on your athletic career? John White has been because he has been my goalkeeping trainer since I began playing soccer.

4. If you weren't playing soccer, what other sport would you play? I'd try volleyball.

5. What is your major and what do you plan to do with your degree? Biology; I plan to go on to become a physical therapist.

6. If you could travel back in time to any point in history, where would you go? I'd go back to the Roaring '20s.

7. What is your favorite band? My favorite band is Rascal Flatts.

8. What is your favorite book? The Giving Tree

9. If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be? I would like to travel to anywhere in Europe.

10. What is one word that describes you and why? Dedicated; Whenever I start something I always give it my all and finish it.
