TIGERVILLE, S.C. --- Senior Erin Barcal produced a goal and an assist while the Lees-McRae women's soccer team blanked North Greenville, 2-0, in Conference Carolinas action Wednesday afternoon at Pepsi Stadium in Tigerville, S.C.
The Bobcats (2-4, 2-0 CC) doubled the opposition in shots, 18-9, while five players recorded multiple shots. The Crusaders (1-4, 0-2) saw Madelynn Schober make 12 saves on the evening.
Coach Kiko Magaña's team and goalkeeper Alexis Feely (Raleigh, N.C.) haven't allowed a conference goal this season.
Feely made six saves in her second shutout in the last three contests and leads the conference in saves with 49.
Barcal (Wilmington, N.C.) tallied an unassisted goal at the 23:30 mark in the first half.
LMC's Allyna Ankney (Sneads Ferry, N.C.) doubled the advantage while Barcal earned the assist with 6:42 remaining in the first half.
Ankney and Nikki Torres (Monroe, N.C.) led the team with three shots each. The Bobcats as a team put 15 shots on frame.
LMC concludes a seven-match road swing with a trip to Erskine for a CC tilt Saturday, Sep. 17 at 2 p.m. in Due West, S.C.
