BANNER ELK, N.C. – Emmanuel College's Jessie Denney scored in the 70th minute to spoil senior day for the Lees-McRae women's soccer team Saturday, 1-0. The loss concludes the regular season for the Bobcats and they finish with a record of 6-11-0 overall and 6-5-0 in conference play.

The Bobcats have earned the No. 4 seed in the Conference Carolinas women's soccer team. By virtue of finishing in the top four, LMC will host a quarterfinal match on Tuesday Nov. 1 against fifth-seeded Barton at 7 p.m.
