GAFFNEY, S.C. – Limestone's Megan O'Connor scored in 49th minute to lift her team to a 1-0 victory over the Lees-McRae College women's soccer team in the Conference Carolinas Championship game in Gaffney, S.C. Saturday night. The loss brings Lees-McRae's season to close and its record finishes at 5-12-3.

The Saints controlled the pace of play for the majority of the contest outshooting the Bobcats by a 29-2 margin. LMC's two shots Saturday came from Lauren Paulsen and Riley Neese. Neese's attempt was LMC's lone attempt on goal in the match.

Alexis Feely took the loss in goal for the Bobcats after making eight saves on nine attempts. Feely's eight saves against the Saints brings her season total to close at 144 saves, which is the fourth-most by a LMC goalkeeper in a single season in program history.

Following the game, Feely, Katie Lysaght and Autumn Esposito were the Bobcats named to the All-Tournament team.

The Bobcats will lose seven players due to graduation, but they will return 21 from this year's team for next fall. Among those returners are LMC's three All-Conference Carolinas players in Feely, Montenegro and Neese.
