BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's soccer team will be back in action this week with a pair of Conference Carolinas matches. First, the Bobcats will travel to take on Limestone on Wednesday before returning to Banner Elk on Saturday to play host to Belmont Abbey. Wednesday's match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., while Saturday's is set to get underway at 1:30 p.m.

About the Opponents – Limestone comes into Wednesday's matchup with the Bobcats with a 5-5-0 record overall and a 4-2-0 mark in league play. The Saints have been especially tough playing on their home pitch as they boast a perfect 4-0-0 record in Gaffney this season.

Belmont Abbey, meanwhile, enters the week as a part of a five-way tie for first place in the Conference Carolinas standings with 15 points. The Crusaders are 7-3-1 overall and 5-1-0 within league play in 2019. A player to watch for BAC on Saturday is Morgan Patton who leads the team with 15 points (6g, 3a) on the season.
