    PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s soccer team held UNC Pembroke off the scoreboard for 108 minutes of action Monday evening until UNCP’s Kate Weisner scored the game-winning goal in the 109th minute to lift her team to a 1-0 win over the Bobcats in double overtime. The loss moves Lees-McRae’s record to 3-9-2 on the season.

LMC will begin the week Monday at UNC Pembroke before hosting Erskine Saturday afternoon at Tate Field. Monday’s game is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m., while Saturday’s contest is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start time.

The victory improves LMC’s record to 3-8-2 overall and 3-3-2 in Conference Carolinas action.

The Bobcats finish their 2016 season with a record of 7-12-0 and 6-5 in league play.
