LMC Women’s Swimming picked to finish sixth in Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's swimming team was picked to finish sixth in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Coaches' Poll the league office announced Thursday. Kayla Fleming and Jennifer Paul were picked as swimmers to watch for LMC in its inaugural season.

Emmanuel headlined Thursday's poll collecting five of the six first-place votes and 50 points overall. Barton picked up the other first-place nod and the second place spot with 45 points. Converse (41 points), Chowan (39 points), King (35 points) were picked to finish third through fifth and then the Bobcats closed out the poll with 30 points.

LMC's first ever swimming season is set to get underway on October 6. The Bobcats are set to compete in the tri-meet against Milligan and King in Bristol, Tennessee.
