Pegram Signs NLI with Lady Bobcats Tennis

BANNER ELK, NC--Lees-McRae College Tennis Coach Paul Goode is proud to announce that Lyndsay Pegram has signed a National Letter of Intent to play tennis for the Lady Bobcats. Pegram will enroll at Lees-McRae and begin her collegiate tennis career with the Lady Bobcats next fall.

A native of Greensboro, NC, Pegram finished her senior season as co-captain of the Grimsley High School team. A member of the varsity squad since ninth grade, Pegram picked up Freshman Year of the Year as well as All Conference accolades in each season during her high school career.

After a third place finish at the Regional Championship and a fifth place finish at the State Championships as a junior, Pegram took home second at the Regionals as a senior while also finishing as a District Event Finalist, DECA, in both her sophomore and junior seasons.

"I expect Lyndsay to make an immediate impact on our program," stated Head Coach Paul Goode. "Her current coach was my doubles partner in college, so I think that she will be accustomed to our training intensity and make a smooth transition to collegiate tennis. I look forward to working with her."
