Bobcats clip King Saturday, 4-3

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Lees-McRae College women's tennis team picked up its first conference win of the season Saturday afternoon as it defeated King (TN) University, 4-3. With the win, the Bobcats improve to 4-10 on the season and 1-7 in conference matches.  

LMC picked up three singles wins in the contest against the Tornado. Caroline Green and Mackenzie Langmade, who won their respective singles tilts, teamed up in doubles to pick up a victory in No. 1 doubles, 8-6. The win moves the duo's record to 7-5 on the season. Additionally, Amanda Chapman picked up her team-leading fifth singles win Saturday as well.

The Bobcats will look to get a winning streak started Sunday when they host Limestone. The match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time.
