BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's tennis program announced the signing of Sandy Allen (Saint Johns, Fla.) Thursday afternoon. Allen joins Kelly Blackburn (Mount Airy, N.C.) as the newest recruits for the Bobcats who are set to join the program this fall.
"Sandy Allen will make an immediate impact on the Lady Bobcats tennis team," said LMC Head Coach Don Marriott. "Her successes as a high school player and her attention to detail will only make us stronger. Her athleticism and desire to win will add great energy and competiveness. Her desire to be a Bobcat and be on our team was unmatched."
Allen comes to Lees-McRae after a successful prep career at Creekside High School.
