Women's Tennis drops Monday league tilt at Barton

WILSON, N.C. - The Lees-McRae College women's tennis team dropped its Conference Carolinas match on Monday (Apr. 15) at Barton by a score of 7-0.

Barton won two out of three doubles matches to secure the doubles point, before sweeping singles play to get the shutout. Lees-McRae's lone win came at No. 1 doubles, where Sandy Allen and Nursharneem Shamsuddin were victorious by a score of 7-5.

The Bobcats (12-11, 4-5 Conference Carolinas) are back at home on Saturday (Apr. 20) for the final match of the regular season against Limestone, with first serve slated for 12 p.m. It will be Senior Day for the Bobcats, as they will honor Mackenzie Langmade and Rebecca Pierce prior to the match.
