HIGH POINT, N.C. - Three Lees-McRae College women's tennis players have been named to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference Teams, announced by the league today (Friday, Apr. 19). Jaden Acklin, Rebecca Pierce and Dakota Tittle were selected from the women's tennis team. This is the second career Academic All-Conference selection for all three players.
The league's Academic All-Conference teams are comprised of junior and senior student-athletes competing in a conference-sponsored sport while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.25. The GPA is calculated based on the student-athlete's cumulative average through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year. 21 men and 32 women make up the teams for a combined 53 student-athletes.
Each year, the Academic All-Conference Teams are released as part of the championship season. The Conference Carolinas tennis championships begin on Friday, Apr. 26 and run through Sunday, Apr. 28 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
The Bobcats conclude their regular season tomorrow (Saturday, Apr. 20) when they host Limestone for Senior Day at 12 p.m.
