Women’s Tennis set to take on West Virginia Wesleyan Friday in Bristol

BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women's tennis team will be back in action on Friday when it takes on West Virginia Wesleyan in a neutral site match at the Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club in Bristol, Tennessee. First serve for the match is set for 1 p.m.

Last Time Out – The Bobcats fell on the road to Lee University last Sunday by a score of 7-0. The loss moves Lees-McRae's record to 2-3 on the 2019-20 campaign.

Back in Bristol – Friday's match will be the first of three matches that Lees-McRae is scheduled to play in Bristol this spring. After Friday's contest, the Bobcats will take on Davis & Elkins at the Bristol Racquet and Fitness Club on February 22 before closing out their road schedule with a conference match at rival King University on April 15.

Quick Look Ahead – Following the match on Friday, the Bobcats will return home for their first home match of the spring season by hosting Mars Hill next Wednesday. First serve for that match is set for 1 p.m.

About West Virginia Wesleyan – West Virginia Wesleyan will be starting its spring schedule Friday against the Bobcats. West Virginia Wesleyan finished last season with a 14-10 overall record and 6-2 mark in the Mountain East Conference.
