2018 Season (Senior) - Gearing capped off her Bobcat career on a strong note in 2018...The senior from Sautee, Georgia was named to the USTFCCCA All-Region team in heptathlon...Gearing only competed in the event twice but broke the school record in the event on both occasions...Her point total of 4,386 at the last chance meet in mid-May cemented Gearing's name in the Bobcat record books...After the season, Gearing was named to the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll and Academic All-Conference team for her work in the classroom. 

2016-17 Season (Junior) - Overall, Gearing finished in the top 10 in her given events on nine different occasions during her junior season...Her best finish was third on three different occasions...Among these third place finishes was one at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships in the high jump with a mark of 1.55m...Gearing was named to the conference's Presidential Honor Roll for the second straight season and also was named to the Academic All-Conference team. 

2015-16 Season (Sophomore) - Gearing participated in 10 meets in her first season with Lees-McRae after transferring from Brnau University...Gearing set a new indoor record with a time of 59.45 in the 400m run at the ETSU Invational in mid-January...The Sautee, Ga. native tallied four top-five finishes...Best mark of her sophomore season came at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships where she notched a mark of 1.52m on her way to a second place finish...After the season, Gearing was named the conference's Presidential Honor Roll.
