Bobcats earn second straight All-Academic Honors
NEW ORLEANS --- The Lees-McRae College women’s track and field team has been recognized as one of 92 NCAA Division II all-Academic Track and Field Teams by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association, earning the distinction for the second straight season.

BANNER ELK, N.C. --- Iesha Poindexter (Jetterville, Va.) set a new school record in the 100-meter dash, and Sarah Monday (Lexington, N.C.) placed second in the pole vault to lead the Lees-McRae College women’s track and field team to a strong performance on the second day of the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
